French 13th Light Infantry Regiment

The 13th Light Infantry Regiment was part of Marecal Davout's First Corps. In General Morand's 1st Division. Morand was wounded in the jaw on the first attack of the Great Redoubt.

The 13th were part of General Dalton's Brigade. The Brigade suffered heavy losses at Smolensk. Even General Dalton was wounded. The 13th started the campaign with 102 officers and 3480 men. At Moscow they were down to 71 officers and 921 men present.

These miniatures are Piano Wargame Miniatures that I 3d printed in 18mm. They are painted with Army Painter Speed Paint on a slap chop under coat with some high lights.

Cat Attack

While setting up to take pictures of my miniatures, I was ambushed by Conan the Barbarian. He kidnapped a French Sargent and ran off.

Russian Rylsk Regiment

The Rylsk Regiment was in the 1st Brigade of the 23rd Division of the Fourth Corps under Lt General Ostermann-Tolstoi. The Fourth Corps was part of the First West Army under General Barclay De Tolly.

At Borodino the 23rd Division under General Bakhmetiev started to the North East of the town of Borodino.

These figures are 3d printed in 18mm. The files are from Wargames Atlantic digital. There are 3 different heads to choose from. So for this unit I went with the soft cap.

Prussian 1st Pomeranian Infantry Regiment

These figures are from the same Kickstarter I backed. They were printed at 55%. So they will fit in with my other 18mm figures. As you can tell from the pictures, they are on the skinnier side. I like the way they look.

I painted this unit in the uniform of the No.2 First Pomeranian Infantry Regiment. I painted them with the Army Painter Speed Paint 2.0. I just got them for Christmas. I am

enjoying using these paints.

Arakcheyev Grenadiers

These miniatures are from Wargames Atlantic digital. I 3D printed them at 60%. So they fit in with my mainly 18mm miniatures. The only problem is that at this size the bayonets are very fragile. I see over time they will probably lose them all. I am using an abs resin but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

These Russians were painted to represent the Arakcheyev Grenadiers of the First Army, 3rd Army Corps, 1st Grenadier Division. This unit completes the 1st Grenadier Division.
