1st East Prussian No. 1

 These figures were 3d printed. I backed a Kickstarter from Napoleonic STL Files, David Vazquez Fernandez, " Prussian Infantry".

I painted them as the 1st East Prussian No 1. From 1808 to 1815. I followed the information I got from the book "The Prussian Army During the Napoleonic Wars (1792-1815) Volume 1" by George Nafziger.

Little Russia Cuirassier

I just finished these Little Russia Cuirassiers. They are Old Glory 15mm like the rest of my Russian heavy calvary. I've really taken a liken to the contrast paints from GW. With a little high lighting and some old fashion painting on the faces and other places. They came out at my standard. 

Wurttemberg 1st Light Infantry Regiment

The Wurttemberg 1st Light Infantry Regiment was part of Marshal Ney's 3rd Army Corps in 1812.

The Wurttemberg Division was designated the 25th Division under Marchand's command in the Grand Army.

The Division was heavily used in the Russian campaign. At Borodino they were used to attack the fleches. Where the Division was counter attacked by the Russian Cuirassiers and were forced into square. Marshal Murat famously used one of the squares to protect himself.

I know this unit did not have a flag. But I liked the look.

4th Wurttemberg Regiment

These are more Blue Moon 15mm Wurttemberg infantry. I finally finished them. They've been sitting on my desk for years. Something got into me to start painting again. The 4th Regiment was called " Franquemont ".

1st Regiment Legion Portugaise

The 1st Regiment of the Legion Portugaise was in Marshal Ney's Third Army Corps. They were part of the 10th Division.

The Legion suffered heavy during the Russian campaign. They were at Smolensk, Vitebsk and Borodino.

It is said that they were highly regarded by Napoleon.  He called them his "Black Infantry ". But he would never let them have Eagles or standards.

I asked for these Old Glory Portuguese for Christmas from my daughters and they came through.

French 15th Legere

Happy New Year.

The 15th Legere Regiment was part of the Frist Army Corps of Marshal Davout. They were in the 2nd Division under Friant in the Russian campaign.

Knotel did a plate of the cornet in 1810 so I based the 2 musicians on that.

The figures are all 15mm  Bluemoon miniatures. Except the 2 shooting. Which are 15mm Essex.
