Old Glory Russian Greatcoats Marching

These guy having been waiting to get finished for a few months or more. I finally completed them. I did the double flag for the first time with them. I think I like it.
I also just painted the house in the background. I pick it up a Historicon this year. I saw some samples of the new Blue Moon Napoleonics. They look pretty good.

Earthwork

This is a small earthwork I put together today with some extra putty I had left over from doing a home maintenance job. I didn't just want to waste it.

1812 15mm Old Glory & AB Russian Horse Batteries

These are two batteries that were sitting on the painting table waiting to be finished. They are a mix of Old Glory and AB. These are not AB's best figures. I think the Old Glory are sculpted better. Most of the time there is no way I would ever say something like that. But this time the figures seem to have very long arms. They look odd.

Old Glory 15mm Russian Limbers

I am getting off to a good start for the New Year. This is the first unit of the year. Two Old Glory Russian Limbers. I even did the bases on these two.

Early AB Russians for LaSalle

For some reason I lost steam trying to complete these Early AB Russians. I do not know why. They are nice miniatures to paint. I am glad to have them off the painting table.

15mm AB Russians in Greatcoats for LaSalle

I am happy to get one unit off the the painting table. It was feeling very crowded. There were just too many pieces in the space to paint comfortably.

Painting Table

I am in the middle of painting two AB Russian units for Lasalle. And I have started two Old Glory mixed with AB Russian horse batteries. In hind sight I should have been more focussed on one unit at a time. I am just trying to increase the size of my Russian Army. I think I am being too ambitious.
